Free Trial

Adobe Illustrator has no permanent free version, and anyone searching for one is really asking one of three different questions. This guide turns those questions into a decision tree: use the 7-day trial for a short project and cancel before the charge date, check education pricing if you are a verified student or teacher, or switch to a free vector tool such as Inkscape, Vectr, Figma, Canva, or Adobe Express. It explains what the trial includes, how the day-by-day cancellation arithmetic works, why cracked downloads are unsafe and illegal, and how to match a free alternative to your must-have features and file formats so you stop paying for software you do not need.
